PHP Developer

Creationshop, Ltd, an innovative web services, website development and website deployment company is seeking an in-house Mid-Level PHP Developer. The PHP Developer will work closely with a team of in-house web developers, development partners and build and deploy new functionality to our customer products.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. The PHP Developer is responsible for working on multiple projects and frequent deadlines, and providing frequent status updates regarding project progress and challenges. A firm grasp of the English language is essential.

Job Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, the position executes the following tasks and activities:

• Takes a forward-looking approach to applying technology to the future of the products and core code.
• Maintain a client-centered focus at all times
• Full life cycle application development
• Working on a variety of projects that allow you the opportunity to expand your current skill set and learn new technologies
• Collaborating with other team members
• Able to follow direction and take the lead when needed

• Ability to oversee multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
• Effectively and consistently articulates progress, goals and challenges to the CTO and other executive team members
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, Demonstrated General Leadership skills, General Office Skills

Minimum Required Skills:

• PHP, Object Oriented Programming, MySQL, Experience with PHP MVC Frameworks (Yii, Zend, Code Igniter, etc)
• Mid-Level PHP Developer - LAMP Stack, Linux, PHP
• Passion for technology and a love for learning new tools
• 5+ years with PHP
• 2+ years framework experience
• Self-motivated and team oriented
• Passionate about engineering and about building the best product possible
• Analytical and solutions oriented
• JSON, XML and similar technologies
• PHP5 - Candidate should be a top-notch PHP5 developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.4.X and 5.5.X.
• Modern database development expertise, XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX
• Object Oriented Development / CS Background - Ideal candidates should understand object oriented development, and apply OO concepts to everything they do.

Priority will be given to candidates with following skills:
Experience with YII, JSON, Javascript/Ajax, CSS, JQuery
